Personal data protection

Privacy policy

Updated 3 August 2026

This policy explains in plain language what data the website collects, why it is needed and what rights a visitor has.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Denys Laptiev, creator of the ФизикусЪ project. Questions about personal data can be sent to fizikus.online@gmail.com.

2. Data collected

An enquiry may include a name, contact details, subject, school year and current level, learning goal, preferred time, page language, the answer to “How did you hear about me?” and a referral code from the link.

An IP address may be processed temporarily to prevent spam and excessive requests, but it is not added to the enquiry record.

  • Do not submit medical, financial or other sensitive information.
  • If lessons are for a minor, the enquiry should be submitted by a parent or legal guardian.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Data is used to respond, understand the learning need, arrange an introduction or lessons and manage the enquiry history. The legal basis is taking steps at the visitor’s request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Spam prevention and website security rely on the controller’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Enquiry data is not used for marketing messages without a separate legal basis.

4. Recipients and transfers

Access is limited to the controller and technical services needed to run the website: the hosting provider, email and Telegram for new-enquiry notifications. A Telegram notification may contain information submitted through the form.

Data is not sold or disclosed for another party’s advertising. Some technical providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under their policies and applicable transfer safeguards.

5. Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to lessons are retained for no more than 12 months after the last communication and are then deleted. If lessons begin or the law requires certain records to be kept longer, the relevant data is retained only for the necessary period.

Anonymous referral statistics may be kept without a time limit when they can no longer identify an individual.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email fizikus.online@gmail.com from the contact used in the enquiry.

If you believe the processing is unlawful, you may also complain to the competent data-protection authority where you live or work.

7. Cookies and external links

The public website currently uses no advertising or analytics cookies. A technical session cookie is required only for the secure administrator login. If analytics, advertising or embedded third-party content is added later, the rules and consent mechanism will be reviewed.

Telegram, YouTube, Google Scholar, ORCID and other external websites apply their own policies when you follow their links.

8. Policy changes

This policy may be updated when the website or its services change. The current date is always shown at the top of this page.
